ICT as Medium for Advocacy

ICT or Information on Communication Technology is part of our life in today's modern world. It greatly helps in many ways like solving issues and problems that arise in our society. 

Do you know that ICT can be medium for advocacy?

With the use of ICT, we can address certain issues like global warming, racism, deforestation and etc. We can make blogs and websites that focuses on our advocacies and campaigns to further spread and encourage people. 

Also in the way of, making the transportation faster, the way people communicate with other people in different places is easier, than the way people communicate before, and gives information easy and faster. ICT tools and platforms have changed the way people communicate because through ICT people can communicate even if they are far from each other. people do not need to wait how many days to receive the letter/message that their relatives send, but trough ICT just a blink of an eye they can send a message directly. social change has been brought about by the use of ICT, because people nowadays are engage in ICT, trough the use of ICT people can make their work easier, students nowadays are prone in using ICT tools and platforms in their study. it makes their assignment, projects and activities easy.

The use of ICT has great impact on social movements because things have happened through these. Since it’s the fastest way of spreading information, some changes, big and small, have happened in our world.

QUESTIONS:

Information and Communication Technology has transformed the education methodologies when I was in grade school. It upgraded over the years.  Teachers now uses laptops and television to teach students and explain their topics instead of using writing materials. As a student, we can also access our task or homework by the use of computers or gadgets. Using ICT can save time for both teachers and student.

In today's situation, ICT serves as a big help, not only for students and teachers but for everyone. The educational system have been changed by Dep-Ed, we are having modular and online classes to continue are learning. We are using ICT as educational methodology for us to easily comply our requirements, activities and etc. included in our modules.

a. By the use of ICT, conductors doesn't have to exert a lot of effort to louder their voice so that they can be heard by everyone. With microphones and speakers, everyone can hear and be attentive unlike when

b. Back in the days, we use writing materials to do our notes but with the use of technology, it will be easier and more efficient. You can easily type it on your gadgets, laptop or computer. 

c. Presentation of visual aids will be more creative and will be easy to apprehend for students.

d. With the help of ICT, teachers can now encode students' performance and scores on their laptops and computers. Teachers doesn't have to do manual computation because their computers will compute the scores and come up with accurate results.

e. In class dismissal ICT is not used teachers were just saying "Classed Dismissed" and then students can go home and the class is done.

f. As a student, ICT does help me with my tasks and researches. I can access the internet when I'm having a problem and learn from it by using my cellphone or laptop. I can finish it easier.
